Maintenance

At Allied Waste Services equipment maintenance is critical to providing the type of service that our valued customers have grown to expect and rely on.  We are also focused on the safety of our equipment.

MaintenanceWe believe that a good maintenance program starts with a good Preventive Maintenance Program (PM) and we employ one of the most comprehensive in the industry today.  Allied Waste Services makes every effort to research and utilize all of the latest technology used in our industry.

Each unit will be equipped with the latest technology used for exhaust noise reduction such as “operate at idle” units. These units allow us to operate at lower engine RPM’s and maintain the same production speeds. All systems will be checked regularly and maintained to original manufacture specifications. Each refuse body used in the collection process will employ the best and latest technology for sealing the rear door and all points of entry as to keep all liquids and trash from spilling onto the ground or blowing out of the unit.

Each unit operated by Allied Waste displays an identification number on each side and on the rear of the unit in 3-inch numbers.  Each unit is also assigned a Drivers Alert number, which is placed on the rear of our units with a 1-800 number for comments or complaints.  Drivers alert notifications require corrective action and training by supervisors and are reviewed by senior management to assure corrective action is taken.
