Brush and Bulk Collection

Brush and bulk waste including large amounts of yard waste, furniture, and appliances should be placed at curbside for collection by 7:00 am each Wednesday.  Bulk waste generated by a professional contractor or landscaper is considered commercial waste and should be disposed of by the service provided.

Small tree trimmings and branches should be tied in small bundles not exceeding (4) four feet in length or (50) fifty pounds per bundle in weight and placed at curbside with regular garbage.

Recycling

Each household is provided 18-gallon recycle bins for recycling. Acceptable materials may be combined in the bins and placed curbside once a week for collection on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday depending on your location. View the route maps for your scheduled collection day.  For more information on recycling, visit our Recycling Information Center.

Household Hazardous Waste

The City of Grapevine provides residential customers the opportunity to dispose of household hazardous waste through the Environmental Collection Center in Fort Worth.

Compost Corral
Compost CorralThe City, in partnership with Republic Services/Allied Waste, is proud to announce the Compost Corral at the Botanical Gardens. The Compost Corral was dedicated on Earth Day, April 22, 2008. Teaming with Master Composters, this exciting project is the first of its kind. The Compost Corral’s goal is to educate the public, through demonstrations, about conservation and composting to reduce the green waste going into the landfill. All materials will come directly from the Gardens, and harvested compost will be put back into the Gardens.

Commercial Trash Pick Up

Republic Services/Allied Waste offers a full range of service options and equipment to efficiently and economically meet your waste collection needs. Front-end loader containers work best for businesses that generate low-density waste materials that can be compacted, such as office waste and food products. We maintain an inventory of containers in a variety of sizes and offer flexible collection scheduling. Please see our page on Front-End Services for more information.

Construction/Demolition Service
Republic Services/Allied Waste offers an alternative to our customers whose waste is too large to fit into a traditional container or compactor. Materials like this may include glass, concrete, tree stumps, wood, steel, and other bulky wastes. For more information, please visit our page on Open Top Roll-Off Waste Containers.

Compactor Roll-off:
The high-capacity steel boxes used in this waste collection system can be hand-fed, chute-fed or hopper-fed. Also, large rear doors can be opened to accommodate fork lifts for depositing extremely bulky or heavy materials. Full containers are replaced with empty ones on a pre-determined schedule or on an as-needed basis. Please visit Roll-Off Services for more information.
