Republic Services, operating as Allied Waste, provides the solid waste and recycling services for all residents of Oak Point.
Republic/Allied strives to provide seamless trash and recycling service to the residents of Oak Point. We work in conjunction with the City of Oak Point and are partners with Oak Point Customer Service and Public Works Department.
Garbage Collection
Solid waste collection is by subscription. Service includes once-a-week collection in your blue 95 gallon cart.

Items are collected every other week on your recycle day. Bulk items should be placed in boxes not exceeding 50 pounds for safe manageable collection. These are items that are too large to fit in your blue cart. Place them at the curb for collection. For safe and efficient collection, please cut, tie and bundle brush in 4-foot lengths not exceeding 40 pounds.
There is a limit of 3 cubic yards. For examples, please see the service calendar.
Any appliance containing refrigerant must be confirmed emptied of the chemical by a certified professional. Check the Dallas-area yellow page listings under “Refrigerant Service” for local providers.

Construction/Demolition Service
Republic Services/Allied Waste offers an alternative to our customers whose waste is too large to fit into a traditional container or compactor. Compactor Roll-off The high-capacity steel boxes used in this waste collection system can be hand-fed, chute-fed or hopper-fed. Also, large rear doors can be opened to accommodate fork lifts for depositing extremely bulky or heavy materials.
